Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw

Cambree got off the phone the other day with her Paw-Paw (she loves her Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw). He had just got done telling her that he is going to come out and visit in about 3 or 4 weeks. I wish I could have captured her face......she was sooooooooo excited. She started running around the living room literally jumping off of the couches and flipping her legs. It was so dang cute.

Now almost every person she talks to or sees, she has to explain that her Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw are coming out to visit her. Since we have been remodeling the bedrooms, we needed to make sure we have a bed up for our most exciting visitors. So this also is told in her conversations.....

"My Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw are coming to visit. They live in Arkansas, a very long far away. Do you know we have a bed for my Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw, just for them. They will be sleeping in baby Tooie's room and I'm so excited for them to come and sleep in their bed and eat popcorn with me and play games and see me".......this goes on for a good 3 to 5 minutes.

Today in preschool Cambree decided to share with the class that her Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw are coming out to visit and she continued to tell them all of the little details. One of the kids asked, "But what does your Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw look like?" Cambree thought about it for a minute and then continued with this description (chuckle, chuckle)......

"My Maw-Maw has black hair and it's short, she is kind of round and she has twisty legs." I have no idea what the twisty legs part means, but that's how she described her.

"My Paw-Paw has a little hair and it's almost white. He has a beard and he wears glasses with a big belly." One of the kids responses was, "OOOHHHH, kind of like Santa Claus?"

"No, he doesn't look like Santa Claus, but he does look a little like Curious George on the movie."

I could not help but laugh at how she pictures them and describes her special Grandma and Grandpa. She is so proud of them and can't wait to see them!

We love you Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw and can't wait to see you when you come out in April!!!
These pictures are from last November when we went out to visit them in Arkansas.
